Jul 27, 2009 Bottle from De Bierkoning. Cloudy golden with a decent head. Strong citrussy hop aroma. The alcohol is noticeable, the banana fruit flavours blends well with the citrussy hops. A nice novelty.

Jul 25, 2009 Bottle at Winking Lizard Crosswoods location. Chunky opaque orange pour with a big white head. Yeasty aroma with some tart citrus and green olive. Fruity and citrusy flavor with a bit of hop at the end. I don’t like Weizenbocks, but I can drink this.

Jul 25, 2009 Cloudy dark yellow pour with a lacy bright white head. Some citrus notes are aparent on the nose. Great mouthfeel with a citrus flavor mixed in with a balanced wheat flavor.

Jul 25, 2009 Bottle. Cloudy golden body with a big white head. Lovely aroma of wheat, banana, citrus and lots of spicy hops. Flavour is sweet malty, banana, hops, citrus and clove. Its very well balanced and the spicy hops really gives an extra dimension to this style of beer. Cramy texture. Awesome beer.

Jul 22, 2009 Bottle at PIB. Nice amber pour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, citrus fruits, clove. Flavor big on clove with some wheat, banana, and some maltiness. Medium bodied, alcohol hidden and very tasty.

Jul 21, 2009 500 ml bottle poured a cloudy amber with a small diminishing coarse off white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus, light carmel and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of wheat, lemon, light carmel and a bit of earthiness with a crisp citrus finish.

Jul 21, 2009 Golden Orange colour, lots of banana & hops on the nose. Taste has a lot of alcohol. The palate has tonnes of cloves that also stick to the side of the tongue.
Very tasty little number.

Jul 17, 2009 Updated: Jul 31, 2009Pours hazy golden orange with a nice off white head,darker than most here’s.nose has masses of citrus with undertones of clove,banana &hop spice.palate translates well,a hint of malt sweetness,not so much in the traditional wit way.citrus notes dominate palate.finishes with medium floral hop bitterness and trademark hefe spicy phenolics.cracking beer,something I’d love to see more of!
