A foggy orangey-golden body, coated by a thin and dense offwhite head. Delicious, fresh hop aroma; sweet citrus, mango, apricot, flowers and grass, backed by a crisp wheat scent. Taste has a fine citric fruitiness, a clean and medium sweet wheat character. Notes of honey and fine fruity hoppiness. Well-bodied, smooth and extremely inviting. Amazing stuff! rosenbergh (965), Helsinki, Finland

Dark orange colour with average white head. Fruits, banana, toffee/caramel, smoothiness and some alcohol and hints of smoke in aroma.
Rich, yeasty, fruity, hoppy and wheaty flavour with some alcohol present. Very enjoyable. Long-lasting hoppy aftertaste. I would like to try the other one, Brooklyner Schneider version... tomer (380), Rishon Le Zion, Israel

Murky somewhere between yellow and light orange colour, aroma of banana, tropical fruits, bubblegum, Strong pronounced bitterness with soapy perfumy notes and some alcohol coming through, strong and pleasant sour aftertaste starting strong but fading quite quickly. Very intresting and beautifully balanced beer. malrubius (1004), Valley Stream, New York, USA

Banana orange peel and hop pellet aroma. Sweet honey peach flavor overwhelmed by tart hoppy finish with lingering bitterness like chewed grapefruit peel. Medium body and medium low carbo make for nice mouthfeel. I just don’t think it works. Why hop a good weizen bock? I don’t want a bitter tart weizen. It doesn’t taste good. I find it amazing that this is rated higher than Weihenstephaner Vitus. Anyhow, that’s just me I guess.
Had to change this from Brooklyn & Schneider. Got ’em mixed up. zvikar (435), Tel-Aviv, Israel

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 18, 2009 Bottle. Hazy golden with small, white head. Citrus and dried banana? Nice body. Refreshing, too bad I only bought one. One of the better weizen I have had. The only big problem is that it is a bit strong but on the other hand it is a bock so I can/will accept it :-) caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 18, 2009 Bottled. Cloudy golden color, thick slight off-white head. Aroma of slight banana, lots of grain, some yeast, bit hop. Sweet banana taste, with a nice bitter aftertaste. Really like a heavily hopped german weizen. Works quite nice actually.
