Commercial Description:
This Beer is bottled in 500ml SCHNEIDER bottles.
This unique beer is the result of the long friendship of Schneider brewmaster Hans-Peter Drexler and Brooklyn brewmaster Garrett Oliver. The two brewmasters feel that Schneider & Brooklyner Hopfen-Weisse represents the quality, tradition and terroir of the Bavarian Hallertauer hop region paired with the innovation and creative energy for which Brooklyn is famous.

chira schiuma media discreta persistenzal naso è luppolato e toglie molto le caratteristiche di una weizen che pero risulta piacevolmente beverina data dalla buona qualità dell’abbondante luppolo

Bottle...pours a beautiful dark orange color with good clarity and a massive, fluffy white head. Immediately the hops on this hit with notes of fresh mint, banana, light malted wheat, clove and some light citrus...wonderful stuff. Medium bodied...nice carbonation. Starts with a bit of a citrus zest taste which leads to a massive amount of mint, some other herbal essences and some wheat on the finish. Very good brew, one that I’ll pick more up of for sure.

Bottle. Murky, dark golden white pour with a small thin head that disippated quickly. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove and herbal hops. Flavor of wheat, banana, spice and a nice bitter dry hop finish. Just a touh of alcohol in the finish; doesnt taste like 8.2%.

500 mL into a Weihenstephaner weizen. Pours a muddy, translucent orange with a huge marshmallow cap that fades but leaves some nice lacing. Aroma of canned pineapple, floral hops, potpourri, bitter orange, and spice. Flavor is pineapple, spicy hops, yeast, and nutmeg but gets a little soapy. Finishes clean and dry. Crazy amount of alcohol for a weizen but it is mellowed out nicely.Overall, the Brooklyn version is far superior but this still kicks ass.

500ml bottle from Swolf3, thanks Steven. Gold color with a big white head. Lemony aroma, slightly sweet too. Sweet lemony flavor as well, maybe a little banana in the finish. Not bad, could drink this quite often.

Sampled on 1/1/2009. This weizen bock pours a slightly hazy medium orange gold color from a 500ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with excellent retention and good lacing. The aroma is floral, banana, clove and caramel malt. A medium bodied weizen bock. The malts are caramel, cereal and sweet, with hints of banana and pineapple. The hops are spicy and floral. Lively carbonation, with lots of very small bubbles. Some melon and pear flavor in the middle of the taste. Touch of alcohol at the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean, crisp and a little dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a touch of alcohol.

Bottle. Pours with a very murky yellow color. At the end all the sediments cause the beer to turn murky brown. Turned my wife of for sure. However the beer is very interesting: first off it pours with a gigantic head that quickly dissipates. Aroam is complex, I get citrus but also caramel and gingerbread spices. Flavor is more like citrus with a dry hops finish. I really enjoyed this one.

Pours with a huge, rocky, off-white head. Light brown body with good lacing from the head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, banana, toffee, vanilla, and a slight hop in the finish. Taste is alcohol, yeast, and raisins. Very rich but cut a bit by the dry mouthfeel. Light bubbles.
