Jun 10, 2008 Bottle, poured aggressively and developed an abounding head. Very nice amalgamated aroma of the typical banana, bubblegum and spice without any one thing standing out. Taste has some crisp wheat and sweet barley accompanied by a firm hop bitterness, fruits and spice- again, like the aroma, everything blended and balanced. Alcohol is pretty well hidden (8.2%? really?) Nice collaboration of two great brewers, tasty and the price point isn’t out of reach for frequent drinking.

Jun 7, 2008 On tap at the Huber Haus. Pours a butterscotch-colored cloudy dark gold with a creamy thick head that is difficult to get into the glass. Aroma is not hoppy at all. At warming, there’s some banana flavor, but it’s mostly wheat. The flavor is amazing. This has a wonderfully balanced hop bitternes that blend well with the mild citrus lemon and orange tastes of the weizen yeast esters. A very thick beer. Just a super delicious treat. Clearly and as usual, you must try this one vom fass.

Pours a hazy dark gold with a massive white foamy head.
Aroma is strong clove, banana, citrus hop and wheat.
Nice banana-wheat flavour. A dry lemony bitterness in the finish. Some lingering alc. Very good. Glad I tried it.

Jun 6, 2008 Hazy orange color with a head that retains throughout. Nice aroma incld. banana, yeast and wheat. Very smooth and balanced beer that is heavier on carbonation and refreshing. Nice smooth wheat/yeasty flavor that is quicktly complemented with a subtle hop taste. Very drinkable.

Jun 6, 2008 Cloudy orange pour with a huge and delicious looking white head. Banana is strong in the aroma along with some clove and yeast. Musty flavor, in a good way. Lots of clove and spice up front, yeast and banana towards the middle and finishes on a lemony/yeasty note. Dry finish with lingering sourness and citrus. Pretty cool it’s with Brooklyn brewery, they make excellent beers as does Schneider. Packs a punch as well!

Jun 6, 2008 Nice clear pour with decent head. Distant wheaty cereal notes coupled with yeasty aromas are first evident. Vanilla, banana flavors are featured which evolve into a lingering citrus sourness. Nice bubbly refreshing mouthfeel lingers with a faded icy mustiness with a slight creeping funk echoing in the back. A dry champagne like finish. solid brew

Jun 6, 2008 not a bad weizen bock, def representative of the style. It was a very nice pour, with little white head and a cloudy gold and orange body. It was stong in the area of wheat and hops, very characteristic of this style. It was bitter but still good. It left a slightly bitter after taste as well. Overall solid beer though.

Jun 4, 2008 Pour is hazy yellowish orange with a huge head and active champagne bubbles. A very nice aroma of banana/clove, grapefruit hops, and a slight hint of sour lemon. This is excellent. Combines two of my favorite styles together and does it very well. This is one delicious concoction.
