Commercial Description:
This Beer is bottled in 500ml SCHNEIDER bottles.
This unique beer is the result of the long friendship of Schneider brewmaster Hans-Peter Drexler and Brooklyn brewmaster Garrett Oliver. The two brewmasters feel that Schneider & Brooklyner Hopfen-Weisse represents the quality, tradition and terroir of the Bavarian Hallertauer hop region paired with the innovation and creative energy for which Brooklyn is famous.

Pours a murky. Golden orange tinted color. Medium sized off white creamy head. Nose is banana apple pineapple, coriander, clove, clean linen. Taste is citrus hops, laundry detergent, banana creme and pine. Mouthfeel is lively smooth and medium weight. This is a damn good underrated beer.

Beer pours dark golden color with a totally retained off white colored head. Aroma is compelling with notes of clove, orange peel, and sweet bread. Flavor is intially sweet with some enjoyable spiciness in the finish. If weizen bocks are supposed to be strong and dark, I am not sure this fits the style descpription. It is an enjoyable beer in its own right, and I agree with KAaggie might more resemble a saison than anything else.

Bottle.
Pours a rich, deep light cheddar orange with a springy aroma of cedar, orange peel, lemon zest, and light banana. Flavor is buttery cedar with sour fruit peels in the finish. Touches of old wood and clove round out each sip. Thick, coating mouthfeel. Fantastic beer; closer to a saison in taste and smell, in my opinion.

Bottle was poured at Saraveza... Came out a cloudy, vibrant golden/yellow with a thick white head, greet retention. Hoppy nose and a tart yeast quality to it. The initial flavors of the brew were very hoppy and acidic with warming alcohol and sweet, citrusy esters to balance.

500 ml bottle. Pours bright gold and very hazy and yeasty with a nice foamy white head. Interesting nose-a bit hoppy, yeasty, some unknown spiciness. Taste is a bit hoppy, yeasty, and sweet, with the German bock yeast and alcohol coming through at the end. Nice full rich body. I really like this beer-I’ll go pick up more of these.

sloghtly cloudy orange, smooth offwhite head. very flowery, almost sour very strong hoppy aroma, also strong alc. in the aroma, some sourness. sweet malty, slightly fruity, faint bitter from alc. very flavorfull stuff. a bit spicy too. fidelis83 described lots of flavors below, and i agree with almost all of them. i ddin’t really like this beer very much. too high ABV and too much strange flavors going on. like a strong belgian blonde.
