Commercial Description:
This Beer is bottled in 500ml SCHNEIDER bottles.
This unique beer is the result of the long friendship of Schneider brewmaster Hans-Peter Drexler and Brooklyn brewmaster Garrett Oliver. The two brewmasters feel that Schneider & Brooklyner Hopfen-Weisse represents the quality, tradition and terroir of the Bavarian Hallertauer hop region paired with the innovation and creative energy for which Brooklyn is famous.

Bottle. Hazy radiant gold with a medium white head. Aroma is a rich and fruity blend of citrusy hop, banana ester, a little clove, yeast, and a little spice - like a fruit salad beer. Flavor has a lot of banana ester and orange-like hops, leading into a clove and lemon finish. Starts fairly sweet but finishes a bit dry and very clean. Throughout the profile, the hops are very well mated to the malt - Hallertauer is a great hop for this brew. Palate is pleasantly smooth and lively. A very impressive brew, and a style I look forward to exploring more. This one is particularly well balanced and definitely showcases the skill of both breweries.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden brown with a short lived white head. Strong citrus and banana on the nose with a touch of spice. The flavour is quite fruity with orange, banana and passionfruit at the front and hops and mixed spice on the finish. A really interesting, tasty beer that would go down a treat at the end of a hot day sitting on a beach and watching the sun go down.

The aroma is a mixture of the citrus aroma of an IPA and the clover and banana aroma of a German Hefe. Appearance is golden, yet nearly opaque and unfiltered, almost in suspended animation. Flavor is full of banana, clover and some honey with an unexpected hop presence (for the style). The finish was a strange acidic display (lemon?) which was not pleasing for me. Almost cough drop like. Palate is bubbly and lively. Started out well, did not end well.

Courtesy of craftycarl21. Dark hazy peach pour with half finger white head. Aroma is hoppy with some citrusy yeasty wheat malt.I accidentially snorted a bit and got lots of dark fruit, banana esters, and a bit of lemony alcohol. Flavor is largely citrus oriented, with huge sweet citrus and herbal notes in the middle, finishing dry and yeasty. Wheat malt is fully evident. Palate is medium with a super dry, but clean finish. Pours an extremely cloudy and muddy peach color with a small white head. Aroma has lots of citrus, apricot, banana, more hop than i was expecting, and some grainy malt. Flavor is quite nice; starts with an orange, grain, and grass combo, then shifts to a pure fruity nectar concept that ends with a massively dry finish. Really nice weizen bock- lighter than I expected, but exceptionally tasty.

Single bottle into a wheat glass. A high quality strong wheat beer with great typical flavors and a hint of alcohol in the aroma.

Bottle@home Apperance: Golden orange with a small, beige, head. Aroma: Wheat, Yeast, Grass, Cloves, Spices. Flavor: Cloves, Banama, Sour wheat, Exotic fruit, White bread. Palate: Very smooth and balanced with plenty of carbonation making it a very drinkable beer. Goes down easy. This is a very original take on a Weizenbock but a damn good one. One of the best beers i’ve tried this year!
