Commercial Description:
This Beer is bottled in 500ml SCHNEIDER bottles.
This unique beer is the result of the long friendship of Schneider brewmaster Hans-Peter Drexler and Brooklyn brewmaster Garrett Oliver. The two brewmasters feel that Schneider & Brooklyner Hopfen-Weisse represents the quality, tradition and terroir of the Bavarian Hallertauer hop region paired with the innovation and creative energy for which Brooklyn is famous.

Very cloudy golden orange color, thick white head. Nose of grassy citrus pine, outdoors on a clean fall day, some floral notes. Full on the palate with a slight banana taste. Some hops at the finish.

An unclear golden beer with no head. The aroma is floral hops & banana. The taste does some weird things to your mouth as the floral hops & banana taste collide to create one serious floral taste. It taste like medicine & sweet like something artificial was added. I like both these breweries but this did not work for me.

Bottle:   Dirty straw, cloudy, lively carbonation, large rocky white head, light lacing.   Wheaty nose, seems sweet, rather musty too.   Hints of alcohol and citrus rind.   Interesting combo on the tongue, initially wheaty but quickly turning into an earthy citrus rind like background.   Full bodied, bubbley mouthfeel.   Wheatiness appears again after the finish.   Better combo than I expected.

( 500ml bottle) pours clearish yellow with spare head. Nose of floral hops, honey, and chlorine? This is a very odd nose. Taste of sweet malt, apple, light bitter hops, perfume and florals.

This one is tasty...hoppy aroma with notes of banana, yeast and wheat. Flavor is light and refreshing, with citrus hops and fruity notes. Alcohol is well-hidden and the mouthfeel is quite carbonated. Delicious!

Light orange beer with big and blond head. Aroma is interesting, fruits, lemon, hops, yeast and some spices. In the flavour there are wheat, some pine needles, fruitfull hoppy bitterness, sometimes there are found sweet tropical fruits and in the end flavour is surprisingly dry and spicy. With yeast flavour is more balanced and spicy bitterness that was found without yeast is gone. Very nice and slippery to drink with nice carbonation. Weird but succesfull "fruith-hop-hefe" beer where my favourites beer styles combined greatly and outcome is succesfull.

Had this beer at Kafe Belgie as Schneider Hopfenweisse Tap 5. Hazy orange colored brew. Yeasty with some hops in the aroma. Flavor about the same. Enjoyable, but not outstanding. Could use some more distinctive hops.
