| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 16, 2009 A nice deep mahogany brown beer with a small off-whitish head that quits quick. Nose is spicy, with some dried fruit and a bit boozy. Flavor is complex, a lot of dark fruit, dried fruit, spice, a belgian yeasty flavor, and tart. Really delicious chewy mouthfeel. I’m no expert in wheats, or weizen bocks, but this seems to me like a belgian dubbel, I’m surprised it has wheat in it. Good beer! Indutiomarus (11), Kuwait
| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Best Weizen Bock ever for sure. Pours a deep amber orange with a nice head of off white bubbles. Aromas of malt, clove, and soft banana. Clean malty slight-citrus flavor hits the tongue with a perfect amount of carbonation before giving way to caramel, banana, apricot, and hard candy. Then a clove like hop finish before going away leaving the palate awake and wanting more. World Class!

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jun 15, 2009 I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to try this one. One of my new favorites. I’m kicking myself now for stupidly pouring this into a pint glass. I would have enjoyed that massive head of foam much more in a glass like the one pictured here. I don’t have to describe the appearance, just look at the picture. Stunning. The aroma is complex with raisins, plums, banana, prunes, clove and other spices. A bit salty. The taste is equally complex with prunes, plums, raisins, and a wonderful spicy character thats by far the best in any weizen bock I’ve had. It ends on a wheat note with mild bitterness. Its medium bodied and goes down very easily. A great summer brew that is light, but massively tasty! zdk (207), New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 11, 2009 bottle: pours cloudy dark red/brown with thick white head. Yeasty-wheaty nose. Sweet, malty taste with nice alcohol bite at the end. Overtones of charcoal and chocolate. Light body and medium carb. I’m just not tasting the banana, but still a good brew. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2009 Pours an opaque brown with a big, thick off white head. Really great aroma of bananas, clove, wheat. A bit of tobacco like clove cigarettes, A light smoke and fruity sourness. Flavor is clove and cinamon, carmel. Medium body with soft carbonation, dry finish. Basically all you could want in a wheat beer. vtafro (469), , New Jersey, USA
