Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Bottle, Dark ruby color with a big white head. Aroma and spices. Flavor same as aroma, smooth and sweet. One of my favorite beer.

(Bottle from Fat Cat, Norwich) Poured into a dimpled mug, dark brown with fluffy white head, though not as big as expected. Smell was of cloves, bananas, raisons, alcohol, wheat and flowers. Strong aroma. Taste was suitably big, malty with flowery hops, and elements of all the above. Quite sweet with warming alcohol - lots of dark sweet malt. Good carbonation. Rich yet dangerously drinkable. Great.

Drank strait from the bottle. Flavors of spice, alcohol, caramel, and raisin. Smooth and complex. Pretty decent.

This ’un. big press and i was really looking forward to it. Its nice, lets agree on that, but it doesn’t present as nice as I’d like in the glass, or on the nose. So, its a drink of two halves. Finish is very complex and very nice palate wise. Good, but not great. Will try again tho

50cl bottle poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy amber brown with plentiful beige head. Nose is figs or raisins. Flavor is delicious. Notes of dried fruit, yeast, some malt. Finish is medium, slight bitterness and some alcohol with a touch of sourness. Full-bodied heavy brew. Excellent well-rounded beer.

Cola-like color and head. Sweet, almost too sweet, aroma. Taste is definitely too sweet, with some sour notes (which I dislike). The finish is pungent and I guess is supposed to taste of cloves. Reminded me more of eating a menthol cigarette.

Pours a dark ruby with a big white head. Aroma is huge spice, banana, and sweet. Taste is banana, spice, yeast, and I agree with the below rater who said bubble gum, which is really weird. Interesting beer and different from most of what I have had.
