500 ml bottle given to me by a friend. Pours a VERY dark reddish brown. Flavor: Roasted malt, dried fruit, and caramel.

Huge head when poured. Smells muddy and earthy. Sweet, yeasty with a wonderful mouthfeel. Big flavors of nutmeg, cloves, and banana. Lots of things going on in this beer.

Large and foamy head when poured. Yeasty aroma, almost wet plant like. Deep brown colour. Very tasty, as it should be for a german wheat beer.

Pours an opaque honey color. Massive head, creamy and white. Long staying pour with massive lacing. Classic German Weizen sediment floating around. Watch it settle while waiting for the had to go down. Nose of clove and banana. Very malty. Intense banana nut bread. Yeasty after taste. Like a hefe on roids. Medium mouth feel. Carbonation is perfect for the style. Smooth as velvet. Awesome beer!

Bottle. Poured deep sanguine with thick white head. Aroma of cloves and caramel. Citrus, clove and banana, with spicy and hop finish.

50cl bottle, as shown. Big, soapy beige head with little retention. Hazy, almost opaque mud brown colour. Aroma of yeast, malt and banana - with a strong alcoholic note, evidence of the 8.2 % abv which are unusual for a weizen. Full, thick, smooth mouthfeel, very pleasant. Taste is sweet bananas, some citric notes to keep things fresh, some herbs, with a smooth, alcoholic finish and after taste. It’s not one of the best-balanced beers out there, as the added alcohol is in evidence throughout. Nonetheless it drinks very nicely, with a lot of flavours - be on guard. A heavy-footer for a weizen, but not in a bad way.

Tops in it’s class. So delicious. Strong yet so smooth. Spices are up front but they are not offensive like many other wheat beers.

Strong armoas of malts, bananas cloves and smooth yeast. A nice and dark beer That looks EXACTLY like the picture with that same glass. The malts come out in the taste but after you get the banana and cloves tastes, it’s all very smooth and nicely complimented by the easy yeast taste and the bubbles on the palate. Quite a nice dark beer, the strange name kept me away too long.
