Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

My favorite of the wheat bocks. First thing I noticed was the incredibly thick, long lasting head. A not particularly enticing aroma, but the feel in the mouth was very full and rich. The a.b.v. was apparent, though well balanced and not overpowering.

bottle, pours cherry-brown. Medium white head, lots of carbonation. Strong yeast aroma. Long finish, nice hints of alcohol. Fell carbonation on the palate. Awesome beer, well balanced. Rating no 16

Bottle into stine, pour is definetely more murky brown than "dark ruby", big foamy off-white head. Smell spice, wheat, yeast, alcohol. Taste is sweet, sugar, some fruit, dried prunes, figs, cherries, sour finish without much alcohol, and a lot of carbonation. Not as interesting or complex as I’d expected, decent enough but not remarkable in my opinion.

16.9 oz. bottle. Pours reddish-brown with a good amount of off-white head. Fruity aroma that includes apples, cherries, bananas, and raisins. Flavor is slightly sweet with malts, bananas, raisins, and alcohol. Smooth and nice palate.

Brown body with large bulging head. Fruity and spicy nose. Taste of bananas and raisins comes through. Also malts. Quite sweet. Bitterness in the finish.

This brown beer has an orangey glow and orange peel and cloves in the flavour, which is dominated by raisins, currants, and other dark, dried fruits. There is very little bitterness in the finish; most of the flavours are at the front of sides of the tongue.

Tap @ BQ. Cloudy brown body, with typical weizen head. Esters (banana), clove and yeast. Full-bodied. Well hidden ABV. A classic.
