Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

16.9oz bottle from Trinity Liquors. $3.00 a bottle! What a great bargain. Aroma is really nice cherries, bananas, apples, malt, and a really nice toasted marshmallow smell! Pours a cloudy raw honey color, thin off-white head and tons of carbonation. Flavor is very nice malts, cherries, and some alcohol. Great mouthfeel...very nice warming feeling and the carbonation literally clears your sinuses! Overall...im really impressed...This is a great beer...very different and would be the ultimate to drink around a campfire...

I typically suggest this stuff at Toronado to beer noobs who aren’t ready for the double IPAs or imperial stouts, but hey, I don’t mind drinking this myself. In fact, I love it. Pours a cloudy dark brown with a big white head. Aroma is banana and other fruits, caramel, and yeast. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, bananas foster, clove, raisin, and mild alcohol. Smooth yet lively on the palate.

Aroma was suggestive of cherries and some light spiciness. Very little head, but brownish appearance, with ever present carbonation. Flavor was once again full of cherries, apples and some malt. Palate was fairly lively. I liked it.

Pours with a three-finger light tan head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Almost cloudy dark amber color, ton of yeast in bottom of bottle. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Caramel nose. Flavor is sweet yeasty caramel, clean finish. Cellars well, brewed 2004. $6.75 for a 500ml bottle from a Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, ME.

Gift from donfardz64. Pours a dark brown/amber hue, nice and cloudy. Complex aroma of wheat, caramelised banana and sweet malt. Dates and hints of toffee. A Strong, milk chocolate aroma engulfs the nose each time you go for a sip. A beautiful, balanced sweetness and rich, rich flavours. These rich and complex flavours begin with spice that, along with the carbonation and alcohol, warm the palate nicely. Through the spice (such as clove, cinnamon and allspice) comes immense toffee malt flavours, along with milk chocolate dancing with caramelised banana. Wheat and bubblegum and mild bitter hops are present. The alcohol is only moderately present, and seems to fix the flavours onto the palate. Has a creamy, smooth mouthfeel that’s perfectly suited to the flavours, and has a great, long lasting finish of toasted malt. Gorgeous!
