As stated, pours murky, and finishes smoother than some other wheat beers I have had lately. rosenbergh (873), Helsinki, Finland

Pours amber with tan head.
Aroma of wheat, dark fruits - fig and prunes -, malts.
Taste, close to the same as aroma, plenty of dark fruits, thick grainy mouthfeel with presence of wheat, caramel malts. Lots of sweetness. Gains a lot of flavor as it warms up. sleestak (186), Williamston, Michigan, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 20, 2008 500 ml bottle, a bit of a gusher! Poured a murky, ruddy brown with a quickly fading, bubbly head. Definitely a lot going on in the aroma, which is full of spicy clove, dark fruit and caramel sweetness. Flavor highlights the dark fruits and finishes with a touch of sourness. Any heaviness in the body is balanced by the bouncy bubbliness. Bravo to this lovely beer, and this from someone who normally avoids all brews Teutonic. GAManiac (1144), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Pours a hazy brownish amber with a fluffy white head that dissipates to a ring but with tons of carbonation drifting up from the bottom.
Aroma is very complex and sweet. There is the sweet banana sweetness of the wheat in addition to caramel malts and dark fruits and even some spices.
The taste is an even bigger version of the aroma with the caramel malts really melding well with the sweetness of the wheat - cloves and bananas especially. The alcohol burn comes through slightly in the finish.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied with good carbonation and sticky sweet.
This is the best weizenbock Ive ever had and one of the best German beers Ive tasted. Highly recommended! MrChopin (632), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Nose is banana, peach, bubble gum.. very refreshing and slightly sweet, yet also a yeast, spice, and alcohol. Flavor has wheat and caramel, significant spice. Robust body yet somewhat dry, I really like the long finish of chocolate, spice, and banana. Good stuff. bdigital (586), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Dec 14, 2008 Dark amber pour...small white head. Just like the commercial description suggests, there seems to be massive amounts of clove in the nose on this, other notes of fresh mint, caramel and a back end of the malted wheat are very much noticeable. Lively body, great carbonation. Flavor is mainly mint, clove, some light fruit and a beautiful yet subtle sour wheat finish. Very good stuff.
