SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA Oct 27, 2008 This poured a murky copper to brown in color with a moderate extremely bubbly head that dissipated quickly. The nose is semi-sweet and filled with banana, wheat, malt and chocolate with a touch of raisin and spice. In the mouth it was medium-bodied, rich and concentrated showing the sweetness from the mouth. This had great balance with fresh carbontaion and a lingering finish. There is nothing out of place in this one it is just enjoyable from beginning to end. peuasa (34), Salvador, Brazil Oct 27, 2008 Bottle, 500 ml. R$ 6.00 (US$ 2.70) in Bompreço Iguatemi, Salvador, Brazil. Very nice beer. Pawola22 (676), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Oct 25, 2008 On tap at the flying saucer in KC. Pours a reddish brown with a big off-white head. Remains slightly lacy with an everpresent swirl on the surface. The aroma is a sweet wheat with a definitive german malt backing. Rich banana and even a hint of milk chocolate. Flavor is sweet with a slight yeasty and sourness to it. Acidic fruits and some toffee mixed with lurking spices. Medium bodied and smooth with a slightly carbonated and dryer finish leaving only a drop of bitterness. Overall, a nice beer representing a style I’m pretty unfamiliar with. Glad to have tried. terrybail (331), London, Ontario, Canada Oct 24, 2008 Updated: Feb 7, 2009sorry but this is just the best beer on the planet i keep coming back to this again and again lovely

movezig (137), Pensacola, Florida, USA Oct 22, 2008 Loved it!! Banana is very stong in the nose. Nice sweet malt character. Loved the color nice redish dark brown. Flavor was chewey, plums, raisins, other dark fruit. inkubus27 (237), Highland, Indiana, USA Oct 22, 2008 Aroma of banana and clove, Pours a clear light brown color with a pillowy head that sticks around for a bit. Taste is a bit thin and has a some sourness to it that I’m just not a fan of. I wish it had more mouthfeel to it, and maybe a bit more sweetness. I wanted to like this but it just wouldn’t grow on me. Tastes like a hefe-weizen with a pumped up alcohol level and a bit of dark malts for color. Nothing special IMO. armando629 (954), Budapest, Hungary Oct 20, 2008 Consistent liquid with a cloudy-opalescent brown body and a nice creamy tan head. Fruity and roasted, caramel, yeastly and banana aromas are opened slowly. Complex body whit creamy caramel, banana and spices(clove and nutmeg). Roasted taste on the finish comes with some coffee and dark chocolate aftertaste. Well hidden alcohol. Nice beer! montev87 (7), , Florida, USA does not count Oct 19, 2008 Pours a dark brown-red. Aroma of banana-nut bread. Flavor has notes of malt, clove, caramel, banana and a hint of coffee. Surprisingly smooth for such a complex flavor. Abrupt, nutty and citric finish. Great beer at a good price.
