Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

On tap at the flying saucer in KC. Pours a reddish brown with a big off-white head. Remains slightly lacy with an everpresent swirl on the surface. The aroma is a sweet wheat with a definitive german malt backing. Rich banana and even a hint of milk chocolate. Flavor is sweet with a slight yeasty and sourness to it. Acidic fruits and some toffee mixed with lurking spices. Medium bodied and smooth with a slightly carbonated and dryer finish leaving only a drop of bitterness. Overall, a nice beer representing a style I’m pretty unfamiliar with. Glad to have tried.

Aroma of banana and clove, Pours a clear light brown color with a pillowy head that sticks around for a bit. Taste is a bit thin and has a some sourness to it that I’m just not a fan of. I wish it had more mouthfeel to it, and maybe a bit more sweetness. I wanted to like this but it just wouldn’t grow on me. Tastes like a hefe-weizen with a pumped up alcohol level and a bit of dark malts for color. Nothing special IMO.

Consistent liquid with a cloudy-opalescent brown body and a nice creamy tan head. Fruity and roasted, caramel, yeastly and banana aromas are opened slowly. Complex body whit creamy caramel, banana and spices(clove and nutmeg). Roasted taste on the finish comes with some coffee and dark chocolate aftertaste. Well hidden alcohol. Nice beer!

Pours a dark brown-red. Aroma of banana-nut bread. Flavor has notes of malt, clove, caramel, banana and a hint of coffee. Surprisingly smooth for such a complex flavor. Abrupt, nutty and citric finish. Great beer at a good price.
