Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

[Bottle] Pours a clearish ruby/caramel brown with a smallish beige head. Aroma has a whole lot of wheat malt, banana, yeasty aromas, a touch of alcohol, and quite a bit of clove. Flavor is malty and a bit sweet, but is balanced by the tart, citric wheat. Theres a bit of caramel in there, It changes greatly as it warms, a hint of vanilla and more dark fruits come through, and the beer smooths out incredibly.

Cloves and pepper with a slight amount of bannana on the nose. Taste was one of raisons and a slight choc/toffee flavour, this kept developing as the beers temperature changed until fruity bannana became evident in the taste as well as aroma.

This deep rusty russet beer poured with a creamy thick head, the sediment gets stuck in the head leaving little dusty dots all over the top, reminding me of a cappucino. Spices on the nose of cloves, with cinnamon and vanilla. The taste of fruitcake (orange peel, sultanas and treacle) and toffee lollipops, but with a alcohol warmth you won’t find at the lolly shop. Comfortable in your hand. Will this beer improve if cellared?

Bottle. Dark ruby colour with a nice off-white head. Aroma of banana and malt. The flavour is sweet, fruity, malt and wheat. Medium to full-bodied. Very nice weizenbock.

Very well done. Rich malty aroma. Lots of wheat and yeast in the flavor, with clove and banana and raisin, and a creamy body. The sweetness becomes a little too much as it goes on, but this is a good beer.
