Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Pours amber brown with plenty of head and a sweet fruity aroma. The flavor is dominated by sweet fruit flavors of plums and bananas with a bready quality and a good amount of carbonation and sourness to balance it out.

Pours rich mohogany brown with a tall foamy head. Aroma of bread and yeast, It smells great very deep complex aroma. Flavours of malt, bread, some fruit, Bananas, a little bit of alcohol. A little caramel as well. This is a fantastic beer, soo flavourful and complex. One of my favorites. It has all of thoes great wheat beer flavours like clove and banana as well as the rich breadyness of a bock. This is a fantastic beer

Draft. Pours hazy brown with a thick, white head. Beautiful lacing. Aroma of lavender, raisins, figs, cinnamon, spice, and hints of banana and vanilla, Medium body with a warm, crsip finish. Excellent German bock. Almost tasted like a trippel. Highly recommended.

Bottle. To begin with, the beer has a nice dark brown cloudy color. Smells much yeast and spices. The taste is quite rich and thick. The classic taste of banana is there, but not as significantly as in other wheat beer. Spices, a pleasant sweetness. Some hints of raisin, plum and black currant. Easy to drink despite its 8.2%. A wonderful beer in all ways, well-balanced. After-taste is pleasant with clear elements of yeast and blackcurrants.

Very nice appearance, nice thick white head over a thinner brown/red liquid. Not much in the way of lacing. Scent is a robust combination that leans toward the wheat end of the spectrum, but has hte darker notes behind it. Very cool. Taste is also leaning toward the wheat side, as the doppelbocky notes are only hinted at in the aftertaste. Very good,e specically with the more carbonated feel. A good good beer.
