tgncc (796), Bellmore, New York, USA Jun 29, 2008 Aroam is spicy, thick with colves, and wheat grains. Slight fruitness also. The appearance is an appealing ruby red, with a little haze, and a lot of carbonation, and a thick off-white head. The flavor is spicy, notes of clove and ripened bananas. Very enjoyable. Slight tinge of bittering hops at the end, a little more sour than bitter. Very nice. This is not my favorite style, but this beer is very well crafted. One bummer: the bottle (16 oz) ran me $4.50. es44ac (1), Renton, Washington, USA does not count Jun 28, 2008 The best beer I ever had so far.
To me it has a smokey and somewhat fruity flavor. jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Jun 28, 2008 Bottle. I probably had the worst serving of this beer ever - brown bagged on a hot-ass night in nyc. It was still legit. Aroma is wheat and clove. The taste is wheat, clove - almost like a witbier - with balls. There are just slight notes of alcohol towards the end of the bottle, but it hides it extremely well. Great beer. WhiskeyDedlock (1), Tustin, California, USA does not count Jun 28, 2008 Best beer ever! Tart, malty aroma with a long lasting head. Flavor is rich and heavy, giving way to exquisite accents of chocolate, apples, caramel and bananas. Surprisingly non-bitter considering its 8.2% alcohol content. An ale for the ages! mjs (1446), Helsinki, Finland Jun 27, 2008 (Bottled on 2008-06-27) Dark brown with hints of orange. Cloudy. White head with some tan colour. Banana in nose. Some carbonation in full palate. Malts, liquorice, banana and hops in taste. KAF (441), Coralville, Iowa, USA Jun 27, 2008 Deep amber pour with an off white head. Alcohol is noticiable. Banana and caramel malt on the nose. Some spice and caramel in taste. azlondon (656), Fribourg, Switzerland Jun 26, 2008 Updated: Jun 27, 2008Appearance: Caramel brown, cloudy. Little bit of head.
Aroma: Wheaty, but not too wheaty. Raisins?
Taste: Not too wheaty. Hint of fruit/malt. Cloves.

Greats taste of gingersnaps, mature bananas, koriander and some fruitiness too. Very warming, I guess that’s why some people think It’s seasonal, perfect after a cold winters day. Love it!
