Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Strong malt and dark fruit aroma. Color is deep brown with a small off-white head. Flavors starts out sweet and fruity with a strong wheat flavor through the finish. The fruit creaminess lingers in the aftertaste. Definitely tastes like a weizen with the fruit but is full bodied like a bock. Very solid beer.

My favourite wheat beer to date. Typically wheat beers are refreshing but lack depth in flavour. This retains the smooth and easy drinking components associated with german wheat beers while adding a slightly sweet caramel taste and full body. Really nice.

500mL bottle from the LCBO. Pours dark, murky brown with a large light brown head. Spicy aroma with touches of banana and dark fruit. Flavour is complex, dark fruit, cloves. Excellent mouthfeel, creamy but not undercarbonated. Superb.

Quite sahti-like banana/strawberry. Mouthfeel also very much alike medium-to fool bodied, but with a bit more carbonation which is good. sweet, strongly yeasty and round. beautiful colour and big off-white head.

Dark doppelbock. High alcohol content is largely unnoticeable thanks to the great bold taste. The taste is sweet and then later bitter. Great beer. Had in bottle at Bottlescrew Bill’s Calgary, AB.

Simply one of the best wheat beers I’ve drunk. Pours dark brown, with lots of lovely sediment swishing about, large white foamy head. Champagne-like carbonation in the glass. Tastes of clove, raisins, banana. A real winner. In fact, I’ve got one in the fridge & I think I’ll have one tonight!

pint bottle into an imperial pint glass. Pours a very cloudy brown with a nice head. Sweet malty smell with some bread smell. Bananas and malt in the taste. Nice carbonation, crisp mouthfeel. Strong alcohol is very well masked. As good in the style as I have had.
