Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Poors a dark copper, huge thick head. Low carbonation and no lacing. Smells of malt, banana, clove and pepper. Medium body, smooth and well rounded with some nice banana, not bitter but a nice long lasting kick that trickles down your throat. After taste is spicy and warm. Very nice.

Bottle courtesy Naka. Pours brown with amber hues, one finger, off-white head, dissipates quickly. Nose of brown sugar, banana and spicy clove. Banana wheat taste with barley wine notes, bread and caramel. Slight hops, good mouthfeel. Very tasty brew.

I love this beer, always have, but had always had it out of the bottle, until I found it on tap @ a Mellow Mushroom. Wow, pours a deep burnt auburn color with a 3 finger cloudy puffy head. Absolutely delicious, lots of toasted cereal maltiness, a bit of burnt caramel, and lovely yeastiness, banana and clove, some warming alcohol in the finish. Just this side of being a perfect beer.

Pours a deep reddish brown color with a one-finger head. Head dissipates fairly quickly. Wonderful aroma of sweet malts, wheat and some fruits. The flavor is similar, only better and fruitier. The flavor is actually similar to a trappist, with a wonderful yeast and sweet fruit flavors. The palate is fizzy but very warming. Very simply, a great beer.

Shared with dpjuart. Pours a deep amber brown color with a 2 finger off-white foamy head. The nose is figs, fermenting crab apples, spicy yeast, and brown sugar. The taste has a solid fruity yeasty flavor. A small amount of roasted character underneath everything. Rich creamy mouthfeel. One of the best wheat beers I have ever had.

Wow, what a beer! 50 cl Bottle poured into a chalice. Aroma is of banana, cloves and bubblegum. Crisp, carbonated palate with undercurrents of caramel and cloves. Very complex. Probably the greatest beer I’ve tasted.
