Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

500 ml bottle. Poured a nice mahogany/brown color with a 2-3 finger dense light brown head that lingered. Average lacing. Medium malt aroma with wheat/cereal grain notes also present. Yesty banana smells really comes through in the aroma along with a touch of alcohol. Taste is nice! Sweet malty taste up front followed by competing yeasty banana and wheaty flavors. Very nice. Fnishes with a nice kick of alcohol and ligners with an interesting nutty taste. Palate is nice, its a little thinner than I expected but that is nice - keeps it drinkable. Carbonation is nice and lively. A great beer.

Dark reddish brown, off-white weizen head. Nose is spicy, yeasty and wheaty with fried bananas and syrup. Flavor has warming spices and syrupy, liqueurish bananas. Warming alcoholic finish. Medium to full bodied with strong carbonation. Complex and comfy without being too heavy.

0,5l bottle with dad. Dark mahogany colour with a huge steady beige head. Clove , malt, coffe and a bit of germinated grain in the nose. Heavy alcohol in taste, which did put me off a otherwise excellently round and perfectly brewed beer.

500ml bottle: Cloudy dark brown with huge frothy head. Fruity nose with cloves and hints of alcohol. Sweet malts, wheat, raisins, banana, toffee and a dash of Sambuca. Rich, dessert-like complexity. Unequivocally emblematic of the style.

Bottle shared by Crosling in one of the fancy glasses shown in the picture. Poured a deep caramel color with rising bubbles and a thick beige head. Light aroma of fig and raisins, caramel, and yeast. Flavor consists of light caramel, fig, and an earthy yeast flavor that finishes with a soft bitterness. Full, but not overly thick. Really nice beer.

Pours a deep amber with a large off white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and fruity. The flavor is sweet, clovelike, fruity and just a slight hint of alcohol. Medium bodied, more alcoholic finsh.
