Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Pours a gloriously beautiful, tick head. Thick columns of carbonation stream up the edges of my 500ml mug. Yeast-taste is prominent in the head, then you get through the thick and foamy seal and feel the cold, mild caramel cover your tongue... ain’t life grand? The head is very long-lasting, and the lacing just as foamy. Aroma of yeast and a gentle spice. Its palate is insanely entertaining. I love it. Ever so slightly bitter touch on the finish - if you wait a while before the next sip you can actually feel a little of the alcohol in your cheeks. THIS is how to make a wheat beer.

Thanks to MaliMisho. I like the commercial term to describe the appearance of this beer: "Dark Ruby." Aroma is banana and spicy. Flavor is dark fruits like raisin and plum. There are also some spicy notes of cloves. Finish is rather bitter, and if surprisingly does not hit you until the very end. However the bitterness fades just as fast as it came on.

Pours into a hefe-glass with a shaded redwood color, the stable and very present cloud of toasted ivory foam, hovers overhead. Warm banana spice cake tones find their way into your mind via the incredible nose of this Weizenbock. Malt and sweet plum flavors give way to a perfectly balanced, slightly tart, dark fruit finish. The mouth feel of this beer puts it over the top, giving it all the qualities of a incredibly crafted brew. The wheaty, medium bodied fresh finish lingers favorably until the next sip. Brunnen getan, meine Deutschen Brüder, gut getan……Pairs as well with bacon wrapped bockwurst, as it does with a medium rare filet mignon...enjoy

my favorite beer to date. Pint bottle. Poured a cloudy dark brown. Sweet Malay and yeast aroma. Cannot place aroma quite yet. Very nice palate with a sweet flavor that has a delightfully lingering bitterness. Overall great and would drink Many in one sitting

Bottled 500ml, aged 6.5yrs. Dark brown, red with beige head. I don’t get the hype with this one, quite sweet and sickly, porty with cloves and various spices and a big dose of nasal alcohol, but for a beer to be looked forward to it is a bit lacking. A beer trying to be a wine rather than a beer. It’s ok, but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours a dark ruby with long lasting white head. Aroma is of cloves & banana, sweet on the palate, alcohol is well hidden. An enjoyable wheat beer.

According to me, this is fantastic. It’s so refreshing despite the quite high alcohol percent. A lot of spices, like clove, in the taste together with banana. I think I’m going to have many of these in the summer... nearly perfection. A litte bit of an alcoholic burn in the finish, especially as the beer warms up, but overall a very enjoyable weizen bock.

Pours dark reddish brown with off white head. Aromas of cloves, bread, and malt. Cloves are the dominant flavor with some sweet maltiness and brown sugar. Full body with average carbonation and creamy mouthfeel. Good desert beer.
