Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

World class beer! Reddish brown hazy colour with huge white head. Aroma of dark fruits, candy, banana and clove. Creamy smooth body. Massive taste of banana, caramel, wheat and some alcohol all finished with a long bitterness. I want more!

beautiful aroma with a hint of caramel or something chocolatey and sweet like it. A slow pour produced a lasting, massively froth filled head. The appearance was a brilliant dark brown/amber in my dissapointlingly weak beer glass.

Bottle, dark red. Big head, two fingers. Smells sweet. Flavor that is all over the place. Sweet malt, raisons, spices, wheat, and a nice touch of caramel. Really smooth and easy to drink. Overall good beer!

medium dark brown with red highlights. haziness develops as the yeast is introduced. its topped by a big fluffy off white head. sweet malty aroma with notes of yeast, wheat, raisins, flowers/light banana esters and something piney. fruity dark raisin and malt flavors dominate over chocolate, wheat, spice, yeast and finally banana (only after yeast is added). lots of sweetness but it’s not overbearing. alcohol shows up on the finish along with a salty yeast hint. medium to full bodied with a rich smooth mouth feel.

Bottle. Pours brown with a very long lasting beige head. Malty aroma with notes of raisin and wheat. Medium body, very mellow and smooth. Flavor is again malty. Starts with dark fruit and yeast, then a hint of spicy clove and raisin, followed by a dry, sweet, fruity finish, with notes of banana and citrus fruit.

Aventinus is dark brown beer with medium blond head. Aroma is sweet and wheatish and maybe there are some alcohol in the background. Flavour is first quite sweet but sourness balanced that nicely. There are also some spicyness that gives me to some impression of belgium beers. There are quite much of carbonation but it is smooth and so Aventinus is nice to drink. There are nice nuancees from different beer styles but still the beer is very balanced.
