Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Bottled. Hazy, dark amber. Huge and firm head. A bit yeasty, spicy; like a wissbier. A bit sweetish with a warm alko-feel. Flavour from fig or some other sweet fruit.

Really hazy. Aroma is yeasty, with nutty notes in it. Reminds me quite a lot of a weissbier. Yeast is in the flavor as well. Sour and rather spicy, maybe too spicy, from pepper.

Bottled. Beautiful hazy light brown colour with orange-like tone. Clean aroma of banana. Chewy, malt flavour with a spicy alcohol warmth.

bottle. Hazy deep amber-brown colour, large beige head. Very aromatic. Full-bodied, sweet and malty background with flavours of prunes, raisins, caramel, chocolate. Pleasantly yeasty and wheaty in the background. Delicious!

Bottle. Pours a dark ruby-brown with a huge foamy off-white head. Aroma of banana, apple, hay, straw, alcohol, caramel, cloves and chocolate. Flavour was like a wheat beer with sweet malts, fruit, cloves and more alcohol. Enjoyable.

Mahoganoy in color with a tall, foamy, tan head. Aroma is sweet and wheaty, a little like dough. Caramel and nutty flavor. Metallic and fizzy medium palate.

Rating Aventinus Doppel Weisse. Dark hazy red color with a toffee colored, big head that lasted the whole way. Had a weird apple, malt and spice nose. Malty taste, molasses and light cocoa also in there. Cloves were apparent also. Not bad stuff.
