Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

I have had this a good number of times and it is simply wonderful. Brown pur wtih a foamy head. Very sweet nose, dried fruit, candy sugar, chocolate, sweet spices and super malts. Tongue is much of the same. Sweet, caramel, malt, honey, molasses. Just a beautiful brew.

Draft. Brown beer with a big white head. Malt and plum flavors. Light aroma but a bit of a wheat aftertaste. There’s a bit of a wild yeast flavor to this one. Not bad, but it does make itself known the more you drink.

Dark amber color with a medium, fugaceous white head. Strong aroma of banana and herbs. Assertive flavor of banana accompanied by herbs and spices, a very mild chocolate flavor, the finish is sweet. Full body, creamy and slightly oily texture, lively carbonation. Wow, what a classic, it’s been a while since I had the pleasure to drink this beer and it’s still as good as I remembered it to be.

Bottle. Strong banana, peach, dark malt aroma. Dark brown color with orange tints - cloudy with small head. Slightly sweet banana/peach and bread flavor with a mild astrigent finish. Smooth - hides its strength well. A great beer

Wheat, yeast, and sugar smell. Russet colour, huge head. Malty taste, but also bitter. Thicccck and rich. As it warms, takes on a Belgian Ale feel. Fine Beer.

Tasted at the Barrelhouse Brewing Company Microbrew Fest on November 9. Dark amber color with an off-white head. Nifty fruit aroma of grapes and raisins (same thing I guess). Complex flavor of fruits and malt. I am new to the Weizen Bock genre but this was good!

Very differenet. Aroma is almost exclusively banana and vanilla. Appearance is a hazy monochromatic brown with a large off-white head with excellent retention and lacing. Flavor is rich in clove and quite sweet. Goes down like syrup (in a nice way). A pretty sophisticated beer. Some of my less expirianced friends (not that I am too expirianced) said that it tasted a lot like bubblegum. Overall quite nice, but not something you could drink a lot of.
