flavour. The alcohol follows. There are traces of wheat but they dont dominate. A very interesting beer, NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

I like the mixture of styles between the bock and wheat. I really enjoyed the more carbonated take on yeasty wheat beers and as always the hay like earthy malt flavors of a wheat.
Great stuff. EithCubes (2151), Indiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2006 Updated: Apr 13, 2006Review No. 200. Bottled. Muddy, murky pour. Quite a yeasty appearance, in fact. Head laces well, white-to-eggshell in color, and is probably the noisiest head I’ve heard (despite no visible carbonation. Light, sweetish nose, lightly spiced with caramel. Typical Hefe flavors are subdued. Very thick caramel taste to start, alcoholic but not offensively so. Strong. Dark sweet malt of a well-made bock without the stickiness, though not cloying. Add to that the wheat of a Hefe. Light and fruity notes in the background. Medium body. Fantastic Weizenbock. My friend finds that the sweetness detracts from the complexity. I’m inclined to agree. [3.8]
Re-rate: Second bottle much the same as the first. The noisy head really is something, isn’t it?. Conditions were slightly better this time, though the comments of the first rating hold. Spice is coming through more earnestly this time, though, adds a disproportionally high amount of complexity to the final product. Cheers to this major-league brew! blutt59 (2145), Dallas, Texas, USA

A rich, dark wheat bursting with banana-flavored esters and sweet malts. Definitely in the top echelon of wheats. A return visit is already in the works. zach8270 (2121), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma is sweet with fruity notes and a touch of yeast and a little bit of alcohol. Flavor is extremely potent. Lots of yeast, sweet fruits, some banana flavor, and a touch of wheat at the end. Very creamy with a warming alcohol finish.
