Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

500 mL bottle releases a dark brown liquid that puts out quite a head. Aromas are wonderful... bananas, cloves, candi sugar, brown sugar, plums and the like. Dang, the flavor is spot on and this is wonderful stuff. I can’t believe I haven’t tried this before. THe banana and clove flavors come through stronger than in most of the other weizens I’ve tried, which is an interesting and nice touch. I have to say that I completely enjoyed this.

medium dark brown with red highlights. haziness develops as the yeast is introduced. its topped by a big fluffy off white head. sweet malty aroma with notes of yeast, wheat, raisins, flowers/light banana esters and something piney. fruity dark raisin and malt flavors dominate over chocolate, wheat, spice, yeast and finally banana (only after yeast is added). lots of sweetness but it’s not overbearing. alcohol shows up on the finish along with a salty yeast hint. medium to full bodied with a rich smooth mouth feel.

Bouteille de 500 ml. Belle couleur brune caramel légèrement brumeuse, bon collet beige. Arome de malte de caramel et d’épice bien mélangé. Bon petit goût d’épice sucré, aucun arrière goût d’alcool.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy brown with a medium-sized white head. Aroma of light fruits and some BBQ sauce, if you search for it. Taste of bubblegum, spices (clove), and some vegetable. A very good weizenbock, although I’m not sure I’m a fan of the style as a whole.

Bottle (Thanks a lot Roman!). Hazy (although not cloudy) deep brown color with a huge but fully-diminishing beige head with huge bubbles - beautiful appearance. Aroma of wheat, caramel, banana, toast, some alcohol, and maybe some notes of dark fruits. Sweet flavor of malt, caramel, wheat and some fruitiness. A dry finish with alcohol, spices, and some acidic notes. Medium to full body with lots of carbonation. Great stuff.

500 mL bottle. Pours a murky dark copper color with a loose off-white head. Aroma mostly warm dark spices with a bit of caramel, but the smell is more peppery than sweet. Medium-bodied and effervescent. Lots of spices - allspice, vanilla, nutmeg backed some sweetness and a slightly hot finish that actually ties everything together. Robust and satisfying.
