Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

I was really and pleasantly shocked when I had this wonderfull beer first time in one pub of Helsinki. Can’t wait the moment when I’ll find the opportunity to have it draught (although some of beerlovers think that bottled Aventinus is better). Anyway it’s the best dark wheat bock at all from my point of view!

One of the best beers I have ever tasted, especially from a bottle.

I really cant get enough of this beer! Not sure you’ll agree, but I’ll trade you 2 cases of Duvel for one of this!

RATING # 1000!: Big clovey, banana, yeast nose. Deep cloudy ruby colour. Big, compact, lasting ruddy head. This is one of my all time favorites. I cant help but give this high marks. Big clovey, banana, faint caramel, toffee, cocoa, phenols, soft luxurious mouthfeel. Pleasantlly bitter yeasty finish, with subdued alcohol. This is a total classic. The representation of the weizen bock style. Perfection...one of my absolute favorites. One aday will keep em all away.

It’s replaced Salvator as my favorite in this style. Truly an exceptional (if all too costly) beer.

This is one wonderful beer. Best served from bottle, not tap !! Leave about an inch in the bottle and shake it real hard then pour the remaining amount in your glass this will distribute the yeast.

Drinking this beer makes my heart sing. I can think of nothing better to accompany jaeger schnitzel.
