Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Splendid. Only the Germans can construct such perfection. Pure in texture and flavor... well balanced in all aspects. If you can find this, buy it and enjoy its perfection.

Bottle. Strong banana, peach, dark malt aroma. Dark brown color with orange tints - cloudy with small head. Slightly sweet banana/peach and bread flavor with a mild astrigent finish. Smooth - hides its strength well. A great beer

This is a beer to be savored, it is very complex. The flavor sits on the tongue long after it is gone. The higher alcohol is nice too....wow...

Pours hazy yellowish/brown with small tan head. Aroma mostly of wheat, bananas, spice, and a hint of alcohol. Flavor is basically the same as the aroma with a hint of chocolate. Medium bodied, finishes slightly bitter on the palate, with good carbonation.

Bottle. I probably had the worst serving of this beer ever - brown bagged on a hot-ass night in nyc. It was still legit. Aroma is wheat and clove. The taste is wheat, clove - almost like a witbier - with balls. There are just slight notes of alcohol towards the end of the bottle, but it hides it extremely well. Great beer.

Beautiful ruby/brown color with boisterous foamy head. Smells wonderful, yeasty and bready scents with subtle hints of spice, clove and bananas on the nose. A rounded, slightly figgy taste has echoes of caramel, toffee and cloves, and culminates in a clean, crisp acidic finish. One of the best wheat beers in the world- refreshing and truly wonderful. Cheers!
