Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Hearty, bitter, malty, chocolate, fruity. A classic Weizenbock with a verty rich bitter fruity tase. Compared to the Australian beers I normallly have to put up with (not including Coopers or Little Creatures!) its a welcome change.

Scent is nice with good color that is very cloudy. Great flavor with a smooth aftertaste. One of my favorites.

Pours a deep reddish brown color with a one-finger head. Head dissipates fairly quickly. Wonderful aroma of sweet malts, wheat and some fruits. The flavor is similar, only better and fruitier. The flavor is actually similar to a trappist, with a wonderful yeast and sweet fruit flavors. The palate is fizzy but very warming. Very simply, a great beer.

Comes in a beautful glass specially designed for the beer - glad to see Germans learning a bit from the Belgians. ;) Pours a dark brown with large off-white head and great lacing. Aroma of bananas and spices, slightly sweet. Taste is malty sweet with bananas, bread, cloves, dark fruit, caramel, a faint hint of rum. Mouthfeel is full, ultra-smooth and a real pleasure to sip. Basically imagine a dunkles Hefeweizen with all flavours and aromas turned up to 11. Impressive and imposing complex beer and yet so easily drinkable. Contender for one of the best beers brewed in Germany.

Pours deep amber-brown with copious off-white head that really sticks around. Really unique aroma of spicy bananas. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice, clean, balanced taste with hints of fruit and chocolate. Leaves a pleasantly bitter lingering sensation.

Gift from donfardz64. Pours a dark brown/amber hue, nice and cloudy. Complex aroma of wheat, caramelised banana and sweet malt. Dates and hints of toffee. A Strong, milk chocolate aroma engulfs the nose each time you go for a sip. A beautiful, balanced sweetness and rich, rich flavours. These rich and complex flavours begin with spice that, along with the carbonation and alcohol, warm the palate nicely. Through the spice (such as clove, cinnamon and allspice) comes immense toffee malt flavours, along with milk chocolate dancing with caramelised banana. Wheat and bubblegum and mild bitter hops are present. The alcohol is only moderately present, and seems to fix the flavours onto the palate. Has a creamy, smooth mouthfeel that’s perfectly suited to the flavours, and has a great, long lasting finish of toasted malt. Gorgeous!

A- Huge fluffy off white head with some larger bubbles within that break making a rugged texture as the head drops. Great head retention but minimal lacing. S- Lots of nice spicy and sweet aromas in the nose. Caramel and honey blend together in the to make nice sweet aromas along side some dark fruits and herbal spice. Some earthy aromas come through as well, hints of hay and grass, with a nice floral hop presence. T- Lots of dark juicy fruit hits the tough, raisins apricot and plums. So sweet roasted almonds and nice caramel flavors blend nicely with the fruit flavors. The yeast adds a nice spicy herbal taste that brings out great character. Lets not forget the hops, Bring some nice bite to the palate and balance the flavors out with a nice citrus and pine bitter. M- Very soft and silky medium bodied beer, great balance and good carbonation, I am not sure I could ask for more out of the mouth feel. Overall this is a great beer, I love this stile, it is very soft but yet very complex. Great malt and hop character and the wheat does wonders. All the ingredients play well together in this brew.
