Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Incredible beer. Extremely complex, I don’t know where to begin. First of all, there was none of the syrupy sweetness that I was worried about. The beer starts off with the lightly sweet taste of plums, spices, bananas, and some vanilla and yeast. The finish is lightly bitter and lingers. Very carbonated. Highly drinkable for a strong beer. Full bodied and full flavored. No alcohol taste.

Poured a cloudy, chocolatey brown with a small head, about one finger thick, that dissipated quickly. The nose contains some yet unidentifiable spice notes with a hint of red grapes and toasted malt Starts with a light, somewhat fruitiness and the feel is quite remarkable. Fuller than I expected with the carbonation lingering on the tongue for an extended period. The finish is much richer with toasted malt, spice and fruit notes. I am not really familiar with Wiezenbock but I may have just had one of the best of the style I am likely to have. Try it if you get the chance.

wow i never expected this from a german purity law anachronism, but this beer has all the complexity and flavor of a top of the line quadrupel.... a magnificent dark cloudiness with a perfect amount of yeast , velvety smooth, and the complexity... hops, malts, caramel, an amazingly long finish, you have it all here, with the alcohol exceptionally well hidden even compared to trappistes

Pours a cloudy root beer brown with a large, frothy, tan head. A complex aroma of many scents, I detected a heavy caramel followed by plum, cloves and a light alcohol note. Oddly, but pleasantly, it was all tied together with a strong bubble gum scent. Mouthfeel was full, creamy and perfectly effervescent. The flavor is amazing. A sweet, creamy plum up front, with caramel, cloves and banana at the finish. A slight wheat note can be detected at the end but is quickly overridden by the malts and light alcohol upon exhale. A very sweet and indulgent brew. I will definitely be sharing this one with my friends.

Scent is very nice, with lots of yeast and sweet coco aromas. A beautiful brown color which is very cloudy. The head is tight, very big at first but settles down a bit, the bubbles are big. There are some weird "yeast turds" in the bottom of my glass. The taste is huge & complex. There is a really great fruitiness, but at the same time there is a good creamy & chocolate flavor. Plenty of yeasty tones, virtually none of the alcohol is present in the flavor. Palate is good, creamy on the top of the tongue and sharp on the sides. A great beer, and undoubtedly the best weizenbock I have had.

Lovely dark wheat beer, with tones of raisins and cloves. Aroma like fruit and molasses. Really a pleasant beer, although it goes down fairly heavy.
