This style (of which I am a huge fan) executed to perfections. A nice brown, with a great head. Banana and cloves in the aroma and taste, goes down real smooth, just a superb beer all-around. wheresthepath (554), Buckinghamshire, England

Chestnut black with a large beige head. Some carbonation - I would prefer a little less, but it’s in no way excessive. Tatses of raisins, prunes, figs, treacle, cloves, orange, plums and all things Christmassy (um... apart from turkey...). Like Christmas pudding in a glass - you could imagine using this as a sauce to go on your desert. Despite the sweet, rich flavours and the high ABV, this beer surprisingly does not leave a sticky mouthfeel - although I swear I could still taste . Very very good indeed as a winter dessert beer - although not something I’d particularly want on a summer afternoon! Very impressive stuff! c9

this is a beer that truly caters to summer without surrendering to wimpiness.
a second glass from the same source was duller and under-carbonated, but i’ll rate the best and assume that’s typical of the brewer’s work. Pershing (149), Garland, Texas, USA

The Alcohol radiates off the palate. Full bodied but not filling. One of the best Weizen Bocks I’ve ever had. Pours opaque brown with small but effervescent off-white head. Well-balanced with spicy fruit sweetness matching the soft bitterness and slight sour weissbeer undertones, nice full body, thick and creamy. One of my faves!!!
