Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Thick thick dark creamy malty. A "big" beer with strong complex flavouring. Great if you like chewing your drink (and I do).

Medium brown color, medium white head, and wonderful strong fruity aroma that reminds me of some of the Belgian style ales. Medium body, nice carbonation level, and tastes very sweet but still retains that yeasty, citrusy, banana like flavor of wheat beers. This is good stuff, definitely the best wheat beer I have tried. Sweet and mildly alcoholic, more brewers should make this style.

Contemplate, fellow apostles, the god-sent treacley-dipped bananas that overtake your palate…Venere the sagacity of its finely balanced fieldberries and dark rhum…With love and perspicacity, you may even observe lemon bubblegum amidst a spicy smoke…You are holding, dear beer pilgrims, a portal to the heart of pansophy…

Dark amber/brown/orange with lots of haze and a large tan head. Yeasty, spicy, wheaty, mild alcohol, some clove, and plenty o’ banana. Good amount of malt as well with a bit of raisin. Medium to full bodied, creamy yet active. Great beer.

Pours from the bottle a deep, dark black. Do I detect some purple in that blackness? Nahh, that is the label. Maybe some dark brown, though Good, beige head which lasted the whole way down to the bottom of my pint glass, impressive lace gripping the glass from top to bottom. Nose is rich with old banana, grapes, currants and clove. Dark, fermenting fruit notes througout. Good, rich mouthfeel, lots of fruit in this flavor, as well as hints of herb and spice. Finish is rich, with a somewhat sweet aftertaste. A classic beer which was last night's dessert.

Pours a dark murky brown color with an extremely thickish white head. Aroma is full of fresh yeast and sweet spices, primarily nutmeg, wheat, cloves and bananas. Taste is a carbonated mix of slightly sweet spices, including nutmeg with hints of cloves, wheat, banana and bread dough. Excellent !!

This beer pours a real dark amber color with a small htan head. It has a roasty malted smell and a rich smokey malt flavor w/ a hint of chocolate that lingers. Cheers!

Pours with a humongous off-white head on a slightly cloudy golden-brown body. Strong malty aroma with lots of banana, nuts and spices. Very yeasty. Strong malty-banana taste on a spicy, thick body that coats the inside of the mouth.
