Commercial Description:
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Absolutely superbe. Best beer I have ever drunken. Unfortunately it is rarely available.

(Bottle). Theoretically I might encounter a better Weizen than this one, but I doubt very much that will ever happen. Murky brown colour, large head, aroma of Paradise: Cloves and other undefinable spices, dried fruits (figs), oak and sandalwood. Oaky cloves flavour with hints of burnt caramel. Alcohol is present, but not overwhelmingly so. Dry aftertaste. This is a thoroughly well made beer! (Thanks, joss!)

Deep dark brown color, huge white off white head. Yeasty aroma, dark fruits, almost smells like a dark strong Belgian ale. Sweet on the palate, slightly bitter finish. Well hidden ABV. *Edit* The last three times I've had this, I've re-rated it up. An amazing beer.

Bottle. Dark ruby brown color with a large off-white foamy head. I haven’t used the word complex in my ratings before, but I think I will with this one. Plenty of different aromas going here, fruity (bananas, apples), caramel, spices. For a higher alcohol beer, the alcohol is hidden well with all the other flavors dominating. An excellent wheat beer. Re-Rate (8-24-05) The more I drink this brew, the more I realize it’s my favorite. So good.

Tasted this one a few years back, and i do remember it as good, but this exceeds my expectations. Aroma is so mild and sweet, yet so complex. Lots of easters, spices including cloves, cherries and vanilla. Flavor of honey and port whine, with a palate that tickels your gums in a really plesant way, warming and sleightly bitter finish

Hazy dark brown with a huge dense head. Sweet aroma of banana and spices. The flavours are just amazing: toffee, roasted malts, banana, tropical fruits along with some spices, all in a perfect mix.
