Radek Kliber (3315), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 13, 2002 I was lucky to have this beer yesterday in original Schneider glass hey. The head was so great and thick and bubbly. Lasted for years’. It had all the great wheat qualities, that aroma that makes you ummm . You drink this and you know that it can’t get much better than that. Highly Recommended.
mikalooch (19), , New Jersey, USA Sep 7, 2008 One of my favorites. Pours a dark redish hue with a considerable tan head. Aroma of wheat, malt, and citrus, very nice. Can taste wheat, spice, and dark cherry. Mouthfeel is perfect, not to thin but easy to drink. Strong beer, it sneaks up on you, its easy to forget that it is 8.2 because it tastes so smooth. One of the best out there. ckau (16), north east, Maryland, USA Sep 7, 2008 great beer. Good aroma of fruit, head dissipated quickly. great mouthfeel and flavor with tastes of cherry and spices balancing nicely. all around excellent beer. Pershing (84), Garland, Texas, USA Sep 7, 2008 A Magnificent beer. Dark brown with a nice fluffy off white head. Banana/plum and spice aroma. The Alcohol radiates off the palate. Full bodied but not filling. One of the best Weizen Bocks I’ve ever had. Underhook (113), Lincoln Park, New Jersey, USA Sep 6, 2008 Aroma: Caramel, banana, cherry. Some brown sugar, clove. Appearance: Beautiful large creamy head. Off-white. Head lasts forever. Murky purplish beer. Superb wheat taste, moderately sweet, some plum, cherry. Super thick body, soft carbonation. Superb example of a weizen bock. nqualls (205), Tennessee, USA Sep 4, 2008 Possibly my favorite ever. Poured into a Celebrator glass. Poured a hazy brown color (really did look like crap) with a huge and sustaining tan head. Aroma was of bananas and cloves with some wheat. Cloves dominated the aroma. Flavor was caramel and bananas with a decidedly sour flavor at the end. Body was full with high carbonation. I think I may have discovered my favorite beer. Love this beer.
