Pours opaque brown with small but effervescent off-white head. Well-balanced with spicy fruit sweetness matching the soft bitterness and slight sour weissbeer undertones, nice full body, thick and creamy. One of my faves!!! Bonster (113), Jersey Shore, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is banana, green apple, nutmeg, clove, bubblegum, wheat. Tastes like it smells, only better, cuz it’s more better to drink a beer than sniff it. Top notch in every way. Mos def. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 14, 2009 Pours dirty brown with a massive beige head. Wheat and grass dominate with some cloves, coriander and ginger, soy sauce and orchard fruits.Taste is pretty sweet and unfortunately (from my point of view) quite bananaesque. The malt makes it substantial enough to support the alcohol. Not really a bitter finish, but less cloying than wheat beers often are. Luscious mouthfeel. Excellent, but marked down a lot because I don’t like bananas. jimmiec (66), Louisiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 10, 2009 500-ml bottle Marcello’s, Lafayette, La - Aroma: banana, clove, nutty (yeast), alcohol, smokey; Appearance: hazy, reddish-brown color, minimal off-white head, no laces; Flavor: sweet, salty, nutty, raisin (malt), bitter, banana, clove, spicy (hop/yeast), alcohol; Mouthfeel: moderate to full bodied, thin texture, soft-moderate carbonation, long dry-bitter finish; Overall: a nice color beer of spicy, juicy reminiscence of a banana bread with raisins, nuts, and smokey background aroma, which balances with refreshing long dry-bitter finish. My bottle didn’t have the nice fluffy/creamy head as others mentioned; I will have to get another one and re-rate. weihenweizen (55), West Virginia, USA

Interesting dark brown with dark ruby color around the edges. Nice head and lacing that lingers. Taste is heavy clove, banana nut bread, and carmalized sugar aftertaste. Interesting brew, but a little disappointed.
