Pours a cloudy yellow almost gold with pretty much no head. Aroma is tht of a barleywine with more wheat than barley - so a wheatwine. Taste is very similar - totally reminds me of a watered down very wheaty barleywine. Miko commented that it tastes like it hase more alcohol than 6.2% and I somewhat agree. I wouldn’t say it was thick, but definitely medium bodied. Definite wheat, cloves, bananas, citrus, etc; in the flavor. Overall, it’s decent, but the Ayinger Bräu Weisse I had next blew it the hell out of the water. tangentrider (144), USA

Hop and slight banana flavor. Beer is a bit watery. Finish is clean and spicy with a bit of hop, but fades quickly. ilovedarkbeer (1367), Dallas, Texas, USA

Pours a cloudy yellow color that is hazy and some what orange. Nose is spicey and clove like with some banana ester and wheat. Taste is very clove like. This beer is really good and extremely refreshing. One of the few organic beers that I like. Ughsmash (4062), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 22, 2008 Thanks to Blake for bringing this! Poured hazy medium golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up fresh toasted bananas, bubblegum, and lighter candied fruits with a hit of pineapple.. everything worked very well here. The flavor had sweeter banana, bubblegum, and pineapple at the core with a very nice complement of spicy pine and light fruity bitterness.. finished with more citrus on top of that banana.. sweeter and very well balanced. Medium-bodied with higher carbonation on the palate.. spicy and sour on the back, with very good balance all around. Very good brew! grimreeser (797), Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 21, 2008 Pours a cloudy orange with a decent sized head. Aroma of banana, citrus, and clove. A little bit of something in the flavor I just don’t care for. changeup45 (799), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 17, 2008 Pours a golden color, hazy with a thick fluffy head that actually does settle down a little. Nice aroma consisting of bananas, tangerines, yeast, some lemons and vanilla. The flavor, as expected, is citrusy with banana and orange coriander taking a lead role. Some yeast and bready wheat malts mixed in. Somewhat of a mild seltzer mouthfeel. Perhaps that’s the carbonation or maybe I made it up :-) Crisp and refreshing. Probably not my favorite hefe but it is probably in my top 5. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 6, 2008 A truly underappreciated beer, with a great taste and a lot of cool history behind it, and it show that not all organic beers are terrible. Starts off with a nice butterscotch maltiness, some honey and some refreshing carbonation. Some spicy zesty flavors, with some tasty cereal grainy notes. Tasty. Aubrey (2778), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 4, 2008 Rich golden hue with a lasting, foamy-white head. Big and estery banana nose. Soft texture; light body; tame carbonation. Bitterness seemed to be a bit stark for the subtle sweetness. Malts were kind of flat and unexciting. Seemed earthy and damp, overall.
