500ml Bottle - Gravity Beer Market - Olympia, WA
Aroma – Big wheat malt aroma. Very little other aromas.
Appearance – Golden in color, Nice head and very hazy.
Flavor – Good wheat malt flavor. Has a great banana and grapefruit essence through out.
Palate – Huge wheat Alcohol Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry sweet finish.
Overall – A very nice wheat beer. This was wheat with a capital W. Great with some dinner and this will sit heavy on the tummy.

This weizen beer has a pretty good wallop, 6.2 % alcohol. It is spicier than most weizens with a complex group of esters, none dominating like the banana or citrus that characterize so many. It is a pretty good weizen but not the best of the Bavarians. I would definitely buy it again.

Unlike most German weizens this one has a hint of bitterness. It is full of the fruity esters characteristic of its type. The bottle was stamped "organic", so God knows what kind of bug defecated in it. Nevertheless it is a solid weizen, not the best but very good.

On tap: Cloudy yellow in color with aromas of clove, banana and dough. These flavors followed into a medium-bodied beer that was dense and quite enjoyable with just a touch of sweetness.

Bottle poured into weizen glass- poured very slightly murky dull golden orange yellow, medium carbonation of tiny bubbles, white head bubbled away as I wrote this, aroma of coriander, banana, and wheat. Hits the mouth with a thin strong body, banana very present, finish of slight bitterness. Yeah!

Bottle. Pours a yellowish-orange with a small and quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma is banana, citrus, and slight coriander. Taste is the same, with citrus and banana up front dissolving into a vanilla/coriander aftertaste. Very smooth and a great example of the style.

500ml bottle. Orange with a dying head. Big banana aroma is pretty sweet. Dryer flavor than usual for the style, and a litlte less tart. Medium, crisp body. Pretty standard and well made.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden yellow with a good amount of head. Fairly standard as German Hefs go, but this one has more banana-like esters, and there’s definitely some chamomile notes in there as well. A really great wheat beer. Nice, clean, refreshing, crisp, an easy drinker. Recommended.
