Moderate, sl. off-white head. Nose: spicy, yeasty, doughy, clove (almost peppery), with hints of fruits and squash and maybe tomato vine or something green. Med. full mouthfeel and fairly intense carbonation. Malty and yeasty in the mouth with a short aftertaste and very sl. bitterness. Tasty! MadIndian (997), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 15, 2006 Sample from a bottle at Binny’s "Fall Festival of BEERS." Nice clovey, and to a lesser extent cardamon-y, Weiss. Surpsising, as I usually don’t like these. Good clove on both nose and palate. Pours thick, golden. GregClow (2496), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2006 Bottle sample at Union Beer Trade Tasting, NYC. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is an interesting combo of typical weisse notes and a sharp, tandy hoppiness. Nice body and mouthfell. Flavours are well-integrated, with the pronounced hops melding nicely with the lemon and banana weisse flavours. Pretty nice stuff. SSSteve (2076), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 3, 2006 Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow/orange, with a medium sized white head. Aroma is banana, bread, light citrusy notes, clove, and a bubblegum sweetness. Flavor is banana, spice, the sweet bublegum-like note, and bread. The high carbonation takes away from the flavor though. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 23, 2006 From a 500 ml. euro brown bottle with a coded freshness date on the back label. Poured like you would with any hefe weizen, swirling the yeast in the bottle.
Poured a cloudy amberish dull orange with a foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing.
Aromas of wheat breadiness and lemon, spicy clove with a little nuttiness and very estery.
Moderate carbonation and a malty crisp, creamy smooth medium bodied mouthfeel.
The clove spiciness is the first thing I noticed in the taste with a dry pepperiness to it, sour bready malts meshed a with nuttiness from the yeast, a nice lemon fruitiness towards the end where you start feeling alcohol warmth as well, and a sour wheat malty finish.
