Pours slightyl hazed, dirty pale yellow w/ a medum spritzy froth. Aroma of sweet malt w/ a slight tartness. Light to medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are very malty w/ a defined holiday spice. Finish has a nice crisp bittering w/ spice. Complex. Tastes better as it warms. Overall: an enjoyable specimen with a spicey character.

Dark golden body with a heavy white head. Wheat and yeast dominate the aroma. Light citrus with yeast accents, some fruit in the taste. A yeasty ending.

Very slightly hazy light amber body with a small of-white head. Sweet light banana and honey aroma. Sweet banana flavor, some orange peel hints, and a touch of spice.

Bottle. Tons and tons of visible sediment in the cloudy golden-orange pour. Over-carbonated. Strong aroma of citrus over wheat, clove, hops, and yeast. Really a big nose. Alarmingly crisp taste from all the carbonation, citrus and wheat are the strongest notes. Body still seems light, though, visually, it might be the opaquest Weisse I’ve seen. Light acidity and light sweetness. There’s a note somewhere between yeast and bread dough, and one of vanilla. I prefer the "normal" Weisse from Schneider to its "bigger" cousin, though this offering isn’t without its own charm - as it warms, it becomes downright tasty!

500 ML Bottle. Sweet start with a lemony finish, light body, lots of citrus. Very good. Really enjoyed the citrus finish instead of a bitter finish like a lot of Hefes. Could drink a lot of these in the summer. Would have liked a little more body and head but good nonetheless.

hazy light orange. Small quickly diminishing head. aroma is light banana, citrus and spices. Taste is of mainly, citrus, spices, and bready/earthy yeast, with a bit of banana on the back of the palate. Refreshing smooth finish.

Bottle. Poured a darker yellow/tan, leaning to a dunkelweizen color with a tan head. Scents of yeast and banana. Lots of citrus, muting the banana sweetness. Thinner mouthfeel than anticipated. This improved as it warmed, but still an unusual spin on a hefeweizen. Thanks to Secret Santa (July) for the bottle.

This was hard to rate, certainly a unique extreme to the style, but a bit overdone. Pour was hazy straw-amber color, huge dome-like head in the 0.5L weizen glass. Lacing was weak. Aroma was cloves, pepper, and spices first and bananas second. Flavor was tons of phenolic spices (cloves and peppers strongest) over rich and sweet bananas, some yeast, some citrus, and a zingy finish (hops interaction with the spices?). Mouthfeel was full for the style, a little too rich/cloying for a hefe, but at 6.2%, I guess that’s what they intended. A cool beer, but not a good regular - a sipper.
