Organic. Bottled. Hazy pastel orange witha good sized white head. Quite yeasty with notes of sweet malt and a tart wheaty character (7+). Solid weisse, bit fuity with a yeasty character throughout with minute hints of banana and wheat bite. Medium palate. (3+) Very nice on a warm day in the backyard!

Hazy golden color, compact head, vanished quickly leaving a thin rim. Very fruity and a little herbal: aroma of banana, apple, hay wheat and yeast. I find the yeast imparts an herbal freshness that is very enticing, doesn’t have the clove aroma. Flavor is sweet and sour and finishes a little bitter (more bitter than other hefeweizen I’ve had). The palate is watery and finishes chalky. Overall, it is enjoyable and refreshing, not my favorite hefeweizen but an interesting example, distinctive.

Poured an orange/amber hazy color. Aromas of wheat, malt, citrus, slight banana and spice elements. Coarse, bubbly head faded quickly, leaving nothing behind other than a single stream of bubbles emanating from the yeast collected at the bottom of the glass. I was surprised when this single stream of bubbles eventually created an additional "secondary" head through the slow accumulation of bubbles. This was quite odd--I’ve never seen anything like it before. This "secondary head" was made up of ultra-fine bubbles and it lasted throughout the life of the beer. The flavors were predominantly on the wheat/yeast end of the spectrum. Less of the fruity/citrusy/spicy flavors. There was actually even a slight (very slight) hoppiness to the brew. I enjoyed this beer thoroughly, as I do with most German Hefeweizens. I’d drink it again and again. And it’s organic, that’s a bonus in my book.

somewhat dark golden color with not a lot of haziness. Strong bana and cloe flavors, with a hint of citrus. More bitter than a noraml hefe, but with a very nice flavor. Very good balance, one of my favorite hefes.

16.9oz, no date. Pours a hazy light golden with a moderate, fizzy white head. Aromas of the typical banana and clove, with some added grapefruit thanks to the cascades, though it isn’t very strong. Somewhat tangy, fizzy carbonation with a little more bitterness than what I usually get with a hefe. The carbonation is just a little to sharp and detracts from the flavors. After about five mins. of agitating the hell out of this, I only get a little pepper and more wheat. An above average hefe, in my opinion (and ave. for me isn’t 2.5).

On tap. Pours a very hazy bright golden color with a big fluffy white head. Aroma is yeasty and sweet. Taste is yeasty, with wheat, banana, and sweet lemon citrus. Very good hefe.

Nose of wheaty bananas with a citrus note; hazy goldenbody with a small, quickly disapating white head; flavor of sweet, spicy, fruity wheat with a nice hoppy finish. Great hefe!
