Excellent German hefeweizen, not the brewer’s best work, but very good all the same. Poured a caramel colour with a moderate head. Nice aroma, highly alcoholic but with typical banana and wheat notes. Medium-bodied and mild in flavour, with some warming alcohol in the finish. Beautifully balanced. Some fruit, a hint of cookies and strong tea. (Bottle)

Disappointingly still with a 7up head that fizzled immediately and overwhelmingly sedimented. Flat feel and chalky texture with a lemon-zesty flavor. Bummer.

Small white head even after the bottle is "jostled" to mix the yeast. Dirty yellow. Strong lemon cookie and yeast aroma. Body is a little flat and chalky. Tastes like lemon cookies. Some zest and refreshing qualities but not as nice as expected.

From the bottle this brew pours a very cloudy orange with a medium white head. A very spicy aroma of orange peel, clove, and wheat sits above. Taste starts crisp and refreshing with a smooth orange peel fruit along with the dry wheat malts. This finishes with spicy yeast esters and a crisp hop finish.

Slightly cloudy, moderate, tight white head which does not last at all well. Slightly sour, wit like aroma, which carries over into the flavour, but with more malt int he flavour than expected.

Bottled. Pours a typical hefe colour with a reasonable head. Aroma is about right for the style - some hint of apple as well. A well balanced hefe without being outstanding.

Malty hop aroma. Cloudy amber colour with good head that dissapears as soon as it appears. Dead flavour like drinking nothing then a hint of honey and malt. Flat palate.
