On tap at Hudson’s. Hazy orange gold, lots of bubbles, thick white head. Aromas of clove, banana, and mint. Was a bit of a thin weisse. Refreshing summer beer with an almost minty crisp aftertaste, along with a bit of spice. Once it warmed up, the banana flavors were more apparent.

500mL bottle poured into proper weiss glass. Pours deep golden amber with thick creamy white head. Aroma of banana and spice. Tongue is spicy and fruit and wheat. Solid beer.

Orange pour, clouded with lots of sediment. Small bitter notes, with yeasty scents and light fruit. Light amount of clove and parsley. Dry taste. Finish is light but isn’t overpowering. Some clove and yeast on the taste and finish. Could have a sweeter element to it though...

Interesting... not as spicy and phenolicy as other hefes, but still tasty. Aroma is slight banana and bubblegum with hints of creamed sugar. The flavor is almost like a really good and strongly flavored American hefe.

Rockin weiss! Cloudy orange, huge aroma of banana and spices. Spicy wheat flavor. Very good.

Colore dorato opaco,scarsa schiuma bianca.Aroma netto di lievito e banana.Sapore dolce di banana e molto di lievito,corpo pieno.Lievemente speziata e poco amara.In una serata di assaggi estemporanei trovo sia tutto sommato una weizen deliziosa,non una Franziskaner o una Weihenstephaner ma deliziosa.

500 at Uber. Pours a crystal clear dark brown and looks like a freshly upturned snow globe with all the floaties knocking around in it. Creamy tan head. Gimungously clovey nose. Not the most pronounced nose of a hefeweizen ever, but certainly the most amplified clove note I’ve come across. The body is a little on the syrupy side, but only just (it’s still pretty watery at the same time--these are relative statements given the lightness of the beer). Tons of dark spicy cloviness stampeding across the mid-palate. Strange little bugger, really.

Poured a turbid golden brown with a sizable white head and good lacing. The aroma is wheat mainly with light clove and citrus. The flavor is a blend of wheat, banana, malt and citrus. The mouthfeel was thin to medium, the finish clean and it never tasted gritty. Not bad.
