From a bottle at an Oktoberfest celebration. Good looking with a weak color, thin head. Witbeer aroma of fruits, spices, and molasses. Some sort of light flavor I can’t identify (perhaps it’s edelweisse, whatever that is) but I’d go out of my way for it.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden straw colour. Huge white head the hangs around for a while leaving plenty of lacing. Plenty of the usual Hefeweizen aromas including yeast. bread, bananas and cloves though perhaps a little more assertive than usual. Flavours are once again more assertive with plenty of wheat malt and yeast. Slightly tart finish. Easy drinking and certainly a really good Hefeweizen.

500 ML Bottle in the USA. Another excellent beer from Schneider. Although not as great as the others I have had. Cloudy with a nice head. Nice banana aroma and taste. A great Hefe but not the best.

50cl bottle from the SAQ. Pours a nice hazy gold with frothy head which subsided quickly. The aroma was very nice with a resin hop scent. The taste was a medium bitter, just the way I like it. Over all this is the third beer from this brewer and they have never failed to disappoint. We need more wiesen beer in Quebec.
