Commercial Description:
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

0.5L bottle, hazy brown to copper colour with some yellow taints. Vanila aroma with hints of barnyard spice and some vinous notes. Flavours of bubblegum and vanila over a strong but not overpowering bitter backbone with some sourness leading to a plaeasant spicey aftertaste, body is medium to full. Smooth, full of character weizen.

Wheatey, with aromas of sweet malt and caramel, and tastes of spices and citrus. Also an apply finish.

Bottle: quite yeasty, wheat banana and lemon notes, faint cooked apple and black current notes in the finish, quite fresh and clean taste, medium to light bodied, not your typical wheat beer, pretty nice overall but nothing special really.

Pours a cloudy, dark brown color with yellowish edges; off-white head with great retention and lacing. Generous aroma, showing wheat and bananas and belgian sugars. Flavour of crisp hop flavor and then dry orange flavor in the finish. A decent, yet refreshing Hefe.

Bottled. This beer is darker than I expected. It smells of straw and cloves. The flavour is full and dry with wheat and spice with noticeable alcohol for the ABV.

500ml bottle. Darker color than I expected. Amber stained White Oak color, tall white foamy head. Aroma of ripened bananas, some wheat and little clove. Sweet malted wheat flavor. A nice lemon character. Balanced with a perfect addition of hops. Very well balanced. Full flavor of sweetness and citrus zest. Super Hefe.

Crushed with Jakebra. Very nice. Much darker pour than Im used to with this style, but no worries. Aroma and flavor match in awesomeness. No competition to New Glarus incredible hefes. Id definitely drink this one again.
