Commercial Description:
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

bottle. Cloudy amber colour, large and long-lasting head. Full-bodied, velvety and creamy mouthfeel. Fruity with hints of banana and a touch of lemon. Slightly hoppy. Very well balanced, a superb example of the style.

Poured from bottle at Opal Devines in Austin. Deep brown/amber color. Smells of citrus. Taste is of a usual hefeweizen, but I love the darker malty hints and spices. No real aftertaste. A clean beer. Fresh and fun.

Bottle pours a delicious looking cloudy mohagany color with a very dense foamy white head. Very nice spiced wheat aroma with hints of banana and clove. Flavor is more of the same with a fresh and clean aftertaste. The slight bitterness in the finish was a nice treat.

Sweet, wheaty flavor with a smooth finish. Had it served ice cold in a bottle but as it cooled the flavor came out more and it has plenty of it. Delicious aroma with an almost citrusy tone. Overall impressed and should be for what I paid for it.

From tap. The color is a lot like your average lager, but it’s much more opaque. The aroma and flavor confirm the visual clue: it’s wheaty, and in a good way.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge white head. Aroma is very wheaty and fruity, notes of spices and some roasted malt. Taste is also wheaty and quite spicy. Some caramel. Some bitternes in the end and a strong body for a weisse. Very good beer

Poured from bottle an amber caramel color with a large white head and lots of carbonation. Aromas of clove, banana, and caramel. Flavor is mildly sweet with caramel, banana, clove, and a lightly tart yeastiness to the finish. The smell and flavors are great, I just wish it had a bit more acidity in the body. None the less, I’ll be having more.
