Commercial Description:
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Beer poured dark color for a hefe. Aroma of cloves. Flavor at pour was wheaty base, banana and cloves. More bitter than other top hefe’s. As it warmed a sweet bubblegum flavor also emerged and the bitterness subsided somewhat, but a sour tartness was present throughout. Very good, but I’m not sure I’d give up my Weihenstephaner or Paulaner for this....

Amber/hazy straw in appearance with fluffy white head. Nice and refreshing with lemon peel, clove, grain, bread, light fruit, and citrus. An above average hefe.

defintently what a Hefe should be. darker than normal. It has a tangy taste in addition to the malty, banana flavor. do try

Gorgeous color, fruity hoppy aroma. Flavor is distinct for a weiß, mellow and low key and much less citrusy than most. Very bready and rich tasting with just a slight bitter finish. Definitely excellent.

On tap on a riverboat from Kelheim to Weltenburg 21 Jun 07. Strong aroma of citrus and banana. A good-looking white head. Unclear. Rich fruity flavor with a long fruity aftertaste and a sweet bitter finish. One of the best wheat beers.

My favourite wheat beer without a doubt, bubblegum and bananas on the nose with a spicy clove dryness on the palate. A lovely refreshing quenching beer.

Great color, like a wild-honey from the forest... A medium head with a freaky nose. In the flavour is some roasted malt, and however, the citrus and phenolic thing. Light carbonation, a little creamy feeling. I expected more, but good.

Garrafa, em janeiro de 2008. Âmbar escura, turva, creme bege fino. Fermento, banana, cravo, frutada, porém tudo muito fraco, quase imperceptível. Agüada. Falta sabor. Leve amargor no paladar. Carbonatação média/baixa.
