Sep 29, 2007 Aroma is moderately strong cloves and sweet cream. Muddy ochre color, extremely thick white head. Very good balance of sweet and tart banana, slightly meaty at mid palate. Weak finish. Good, but I expected more.

Sep 27, 2007 Amazing wheat beer. Thicky and creamy. Gorgeous aroma of flowers (elderberry?), vanilla, wheat and honey. Medium body; very smooth. Reminds me of a Paulaner Heffe. What wheat beers should aspire to be.

Sep 23, 2007 Updated: May 7, 2008Poured from bottle into Weizen glass. Thick head, inviting clove aroma. The full mouthfeel of the wheat and the carbonation with my salad was quite refreshing and quenching. After having this a few times over the months, this beer does have a darker and "dirtier" feel than a Weihenstephaner and has a hint more of a diluted flavor. I prefer the Weihenstephaner Hefeweisen. But this is still a very good weissbier.

Sep 23, 2007 Breathtakingly good wheat beer. Nice head of small longlasting bubbles. Lots of cloves and spicinessa the end. This is as good as a what beer gets I think. Recommended.

Sep 17, 2007 500 ml bottle. Huge mostly diminishing frothy near-white head. Cloudy orange to light brown colored body. Very aromatic; wheat along with a suger-sweet fruitiness (banana and a ripe citrus) Wheat , more ripe bananas, sweet berries, dark fruits and candysugar in the flavors. Good body. Nice, and powerful, but lacks the required freshness.

Sep 14, 2007 9/12/07 From the bottle. Aroma is fruity banana esters forward with light clovey phenols, slightly tart, with a faint bubblegum character. Appearance is hazy tan with a medium off-white head. Flavor is a banana/bubblegum flavor forward, followed by a light peppery note infused with some hop character; a bit sweet. Mouthfeel is medium/light bodied with moderate creaminess and a low carb feel. Overall, this is very good, easy drinking, but with low carb feel and spritziness for the style.
