Pours a murky brownish/ orange with a full sized well carbonated head that lingers for a short while. Aroma is orange, coriander, bubble gum, and some well rounded wheat textures. Actually smells really refreshing on this hot summer day. Taste falls short. You get the cloves, carbonation, orange in the first couple seconds of the sip, but it all falls flat and all you feel in the aftertaste is a slight twinge of orange and light bubble on the back of your tongue. Overall, Looks and smells great, Taste is clean crisp but very short lived, Palate lightly carbonated. It’s an Ok Dunkelweizen nothing to get really amped up about. Pours a hazy amber with a large long lasting dense off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of yeast, wheat, clove, apple, and light nutmeg. Taste is wheat, yeast, clove, apple, and light nutmeg with a slightly sour finish. Medium creamy mouthfeel that finishes slightly spicy. The commercial description is dead on. Very good. Deep orange-amber beer topped by a thick fluffy lasting white head. Sweet banana/peach aroma with a soft toasted maltiness in the back. Lots of wheaty character throughout with loads of banana and spice. Creamy palate with a great balance of toasted wheat and fruity yeast character. Full-bodied yet thirst-quenchingly tart on the back. A classic. Pastor (509), Maine, USA

Moderately aromatic with the usual Weisse descriptors. Flavor is fairly good, could be richer and more complex. It’s no Weihenstephaner, but it’s a fine, high quality brew.
