Nice banana/ clove aroma, not as sweet as some, but very pleasant. Lively, fizzy mouthfeel which works well with the spiced, estery banana flavors. Very refreshing, tasteful beer. It would be nice to be a little more full bodied, but it does work great on warm days like these. Adenila (952), Denmark
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 6, 2007 Has an unclear amber/golden look. Aroma is quite spicy, like gunpowder. Little sweet with notes of alchohol.
Flavor is quite sour with a traditional sweet weisse yeast, thick finish. kbrower (7), USA does not count | 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | May 3, 2007 My favorite beer. It is essential to let sit for five minutes while it lets off some carbonation. riversideAK (2779), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 1, 2007 A spicy roasty clovey aroma. Unfiltered and dark amber in color. Flavor is roasty wheat, bannana, and clove with a slight citrus tartness. Smooth and somewhat crisp on the palate. Easy to drink. swampwiz (11), USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 30, 2007 This is the best weizenbier that I have sampled. Has the yeast residue at the bottom of the bottle just like a good weizenbier should have. A little darker than a standard weizenbier, but no quite a dark weizenbier. Usually available at the better beer/wine stores, and almost always available at Austrian ski resorts. undsioux7 (561), Cologne, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 27, 2007 Bottle. Pours cloudy deep orange with a nice size white head that dissapates. Big clove, banana, and wheat aroma and taste. Lots of carbonation which I didn’t care for. Let it sit and the carbonation got better, but there is just a bite that doesn’t work to make this a really good one. alebrewer (122), Mentor, Ohio, USA

Nice and dark, with beautiful clovey phenolic aroma. Best weisse bier I’ve ever had, and having it fresh at the brewery outlet in Munich was a special treat. Phenomenal bier. cgarvieuk (4212), Edinburgh, Scotland
