Commercial Description:
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Hazy golden brown color with a big creamy head. Not really any lacing which was suprising. First smell was clove and spices. Then I got orange peel, lemon, and wheat. Taste was the same with a nice bitter finish and a soft creamy mouthfeel with light carbonation. Really good hefe!

Bottle at the LCBO - Pours very nice deep, cloudy golden with a nice head. The aroma is fairly appetizing with sweet wheat, fruits, and a bit of metal. The taste..... Not as good. It has some wheaty, fruity notes that ends dry and kind of strong and leave with a dry aftertaste. It was decent, but not my favourite hefeweizen.

Bottle poured into a glass rich amber color with off white head. Well crafted hefeweizen that balance wheat with malt tart with sweet. Notes of citrus chilled with a dash of clove and finished with refreshment.

Do I win anything for being the 1000th rater of this beer? :) Pours a murky orangish-brown (dark for the style) with a moderate white head with good retention and lacing. Solid aroma of clove, banana and some wheat. Flavor has those, plus some orange and lemon citrus, yeast and a hint of caramel sweetness. Moderate mouthfeel with slightly dry finish. Darker and spicier than a traditional hef, but a solid, easy-drinking beer.

500mL bottle. Beautiful pour, medium brown colour, very cloudy, almost opaque. Head is small but dense. Very wheaty and spicy aroma. Boring mouthfeel. Spiced flavour with cloves, refreshing. Pretty good overall. Could use a longer aftertaste, lightly bitter on the tongue in the finish.

Pours a thick and cloudy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of wheat, bananas and orange peel. Flavor follows, with full flavors and a good mouthfeel. Very good weissen.
