Aroma was mild and "wheaty", and the taste was very pleasing. Smooth and refreshing. beerfest5 (200), Simsbury, Connecticut, USA

Poured with ease into my Schneider Weisse glass and I still got an enormous light tan cap that took a long time to settle down. In fact, I turned my glass on an obvious angle and the head did not bend with the liquid. Nice colour before the sediment dump, now it’s just metamusil. The aroma is perfect: wheat, clove, sweetness mixed in with not-sweet bananas and I always seem to find a slight chocolate dusting in Hefe’s, weak orange and possibly vanilla - all in perfect balance. The flavour is fresh and crisp with lots of excellent wheat, a good balance of clove and banana, orange and a decent yeast punch. Medium bodied, very smooth on the mouth, slight tangy taste, solid yeast/wheat/clove finish. Bragesnak (2276), Aarhus, Denmark

Pours a hazy, golden-orange color with a nice white head. Aroma is sweet malted wheat with notes of citrus, clove, and banana. On the pallet, it feels refreshing and light. The taste is sweet wheat and it really brings out a bit of citrus. A great hefeweizen. illinismitty (1799), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2009 Bottle from Midtown. Pours a hazy orange amber with a huge white head, which is the typical appearance of a hefe. Aroma of citrus and wheat malts. Lighter side of medium bodied with a nice refreshing mountfee, lighter than Ayinger Brau Weissl. Flavor of pale wheat malts, citrus, vanilla, and clove, countered by a very subtle spiciness. Finish tastes like there is some slight autolysis. This is probably and old bottle, so I will revisit. WVHouseofBeer (390), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA
